For Crooked Stamper's Contest

Crooked Stamper, Leslie (Hi, Leslie), has reached a blogging milestone, and to celebrate she's issued a challenge...i actually made these all on the day of the challenge, but i just got to photograph them today. Also, I didn't realize there were so many! All of my sentiments are rub-ons, bless the heart of the person who invented the rub-on! Here they go--all with green and some ribbon:

Dutch Dare #4

Seems like these Dutch Dares are all I find time to do lately, but I guess it's better than nothing. I enjoy the challenge.

I'm not really keen on this, so I think I'll give this sketch another go this week.

the patterned paper is cosmo cricket, the craft is PTI, the stamp is Inkadinkado, the chipboard is cosmo cricket, i colored in with KIN's and GooGone, the buttons and twine are from everyone's favorite local discount store RME

Dutch Dare #3

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #3: 3 buttons and 3 ribbons!

You know that Yoga Mama from Inkadinkado that I sent with my PIF? Well, I'd never done much with her but smear her with Copics, when I got the idea to PAPER PIECE HER! Doh!

I also took the photo with a different camera inside of a homemade light box deal...didn't turn out too badly, though it needs tweaking and another light source.

card base is PTI kraft, Patterned paper is Making Memories Cheeky, Koh I Noors and Prismacolor (for the fleshtones), Offray ribbon, unknown buttons, American Crafts rubon sentiment

Get Well Soon

This is my favorite Anna Griffin paper, the one that reminds me of a set of sheets from my 70's childhood. LOL It's currently on closeout at Michael's for .15 cents a sheet and a grab a handful every time I remember. I made the scallop with my EK Success corner rounder. The flowers are from American Crafts and ribbon is the vintage green velveteen that I pair with this paper every time I use it. Yes, I know what I like.

Striped Birthday

A simple birthday card for my friend's mom's assortment. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo. The ribbon is gorgeous vintage deliciousness my mother snapped up for me at the Salvation Army. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the red paper. The card base is Georgia Pacific white. Simple dimple.

****edits to add: this one is her favorite

Another Stack O' Gifts

Another sample for an order. I love how this turned out, but the ribbon isn't wrapped and I think it makes it look chintzy. I stamped and masked the stack with a Studio G clear stamp and colored it in with Copic markers. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket's Honey Pie 8x8 pad--most definitely my favorite so far of all the brands I've tried. The ribbon is Offray, of course and the BLING is from Me&My Big Ideas.
