i love this sentiment from hero arts essential messages clear set. it brings to mind, for me, fine wine, lavish dinner parties and the finer things.

my stripes are distress inks, i straight up stole this idea from gina krupsky--her latest stampTV episode shows a similar idea and i had an AHA thing happen while i watched. like, DUH, why didn't i think of that?

i layered some stamps from hero arts for over my distress ink stripes and added some doodads. really liking the way this turned out. i'm totally ready for fall now (and considering it is in the 90s today, HELLO).

stamps: all hero arts--horizontal lines cling, french writing w/butterfly, traditional butterfly, elegant weeds cling, essential messages clear
card stock: PTI kraft, dark chocolate & stamper's select white
ink: distress (wild honey, antique linen, peeled paint & worn lipstick), pti dark chocolate, versamark
accessories & tools: offray ribbon, blog candy ribbon, crochet cotton, material girl & pti buttons, tim holtz on the edge bracket die, scor-tape, foam squares, glue dots

Oh my, this is gorgeous. I really enjoy your doodads too! Lovely set of colors. It was in the 50s here today, and we are flooding, hoping that school IS NOT closed tomorrow, but not lookin' good-the playground is under water...
