A Week of Gratitude: Day 4

What a fabulous week we're having! Susan's cards have been genius so far, yes?  Don't forget to comment here and at Simplicity to double your chances to win one of two great prizes: 1) a $25 gift certificate to Shady Tree Studios & 2) a copy of Paper Crafts Card Style and 2 Hero Arts shadow inks.

Today's card is for my sister-in-law. She and I hadn't really had a chance to spend too much time together since I've been married to her brother. So I was really excited for her to come with her mom for a visit. We had them for a whole week and it was like one big slumber party. She's exactly what a sister-in-law should be (in my head) and I hope she feels the same way about me. In fact, I've been wanting to call her for the past few days and just couldn't find the time. She must've known because she called me this afternoon and we had a gab-fest. She's the sister I never had. I'll send her this card to let her know that.

stamps: hero arts
card stock: pti
ink: pti dark chocolate & distress antique linen
patterned paper: vintage dictionary, making memories
accessories: recollections pearls, paper rose stickers

Just love how you have used little tabs for each letter and curved them round the circle.

This card is so beautiful. Love your style. I know what you mean about your sister-in-law being the sister you never had. I have a sister-in-law that I feel the very same way about. She lives many miles away so I don't get to see her often. She will definitely receive a gratitude card from me.

I like the shabby chic of this card. And the dictionary scrap is perfect! I have several dictionaries, time to start cutting one up! Thanks for sharing the idea.

I struggle with shabby chic but it's obvious you do not. Love the use of the dictionary page.

I have several spools of string pearls and always wonder what to do with them. I like how you didn't completely ring your circle.
