I love the new little characters/dollies/girls from Hero Arts. I picked this one up at Archiver's recently--and when I stamped her my intention was to just practice on her. I recently purchased a set of 36 Bic Mark Its and I simply wanted to see what they could do. I've had the opportunity to color with Copics but I can't afford them, so I thought I'd see what the Mark Its would do. They don't totally suck, actually. Look out for tomorrows post, they'll even blend without pilling the paper (but you have to lay down a ton of ink).

So, here's Girl Holding Flowers Just Saying Hello...ha, I suck at naming things!

stamps: Hero Arts Girl Holding Flowers h5330 and Classic Messages cl414
cardstock: PTI kraft, aqua mist and ocean tides, GP white and scraps for the punched shapes
ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink, Bic Mark Its
accessories: Scor-Pal, Nestabilities, sticky backed pearls (colored with permanent pen), Paper Shaper Flower Punch (butterfly and foliage from a friend)

This is SO perfect. Talk about the cutest layout ever created. LOVE the banner bit. And the Mark its: ingenious idea. They look every bit as gorgeous as Copics!
