Hero Arts Man Week

I've been stampin' with my HA stamps this week, but I'm really not happy with anything I'm coming up with. I can't tell if it's because I have the "blahs" or if it's because I wasn't built to make "man cards".

These both use PTI kraft cardstock for the base, basicGrey Ambrosia and Hero Arts clear design stamps (cl280, elephants andCL216, sparkle clear bunches of thanks). On card #1 I softened the brightness of the patterned paper by inking it with Antique Linen Distress Ink. On card #2 I added some bling with redline tape and Martha Stewart chunky white glitter.

Neither are particularly manly, but they aren't feminine either...I might need to bathe in pink satin tomorrow in order to get my inspiration back! :)

I think they are both just super! If I was a guy I wouldn't mind getting one of these! The elephants are really neat. ~chris

I love the elephant one esp. with the cork (brill add IMO)! And the second one is a quick and easy card...love those!

Maybe with the elephant one, I different stamp choice? These elephants always read (to me) as a baby card choice (maybe I just need to see more samples?). Maybe something manly like a back hoe? Ha!
