I've shown this card before, in the tutorial I posted on Sunday. But I wanted to talk about it a little more. I found a package of cork craft sheets at Michael's recently--6 sheets for 5.99-- and i had to get them and play. They are soft and pliable, something I wasn't expecting actually. You can cut them very easily with your dies and cuttlebug. I've even used a cuttlekids die for the cupcake. Because of their texture, the cork sheets don't emboss very well, which I found disappointing. I really wanted to see that gorgeous cork texture embossed with my houndstooth embossing folder! I put it through my machine with much excitement, but when I pulled the cork out of the folder it was the same as when I put it in. Oh well, it still makes a deliciously cute cupcake!

Dang! These are so stinkin' cute!!
"Leslie Hanna blog candy" - you crack me up! Could you have possibly used a SMALLER piece of the paper? :-)
Because of YOU, I have my cork out and hope to play with it later. Thanks!
