Finally
one of my besties at work, maria, commissioned me to make 2 card sets for mother's day. i was fretting over a direction and a theme for weeks, when i realized, why not tie the set together with one thing, say the base color (kraft) and make them all one (or two) of a kind. since maria liked that idea, i ran with it tonight. this is the first of 12 different cards i'll be making, plus i'll be making a stationary folder for the cards and envelopes to fit in. i've decided to make the cards all different sizes, all different colors, the unifying thing(s) being the base cardstock and the sentiment. she asked for 'thinking of you' since it can be used for lots of occasions. the font for the sentiment is by kim hughes, the cardstock is PTI, Ampad and Making Memories, i also used a stamp by Stampabilities, Nestabilities and my EK Success corner rounder. looks like i'm off to a great start.

SUPER cute idea! Love that owl! (It is an owl, right?)
I love the cards. Not only are they exquisite but they are not your traditional flowery Mother's Day cards.
