'Bug Lovin'

***DON'T FORGET TO ENTER MY BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY {HERE}***

Ohh Emm Gee!

I want to marry my Cuttlebug! I played with it tonight, and OMG, I like, psychotically love it. Mine came with the teeny stamp die and the 4 teeny embossing folders. They're so cute. I've been cuttin' and buggin' and glitterin' up for the past 3 hours. I didn't take pictures, because I didn't finish an actual card.

There is good news, though. I got my Marvy Paper Trimming Buddy in the mail this week. I also got two sets of Marvy Le Plumes and some fancy blades for my trimmer. I'd been using a 300 year old guillotine cutter with a gigantic dull blade, perfect for Caitlin to chop her arm off in, so we shopped around for a safe rotary cutter. I'm slightly disappointed in the Buddy. The 5-1/2 inch mark is totally in the ditch where the edge of the cutter meets the pull out ruler. This really frustrates me. Ironically, or not so, whatever...I can't even cut a straight line with a 30 dollar paper cutter designed to cut straight lines. *LOL*

Hopefully tomorrow I'll finish up a project or two. For now, I'm just in 'Bug heaven.

Yep...gotta love those Cuttlebugs, huh? I have a Fiskar's rotary cutter that I got not to long ago and I love it! I love that it holds the paper right where you want it so you don't have to worry about it moving around. Good luck on your search to find one!

It took me a while to get the hang of using my cutter. And for the part that is in the gutter, just take a ruler and measure it and mark it with a permanent marker where it should be. :D

OMG! I'm so glad you said (typed...duh) that! I can't get over how many cutters have the 5 and a half in the ditch! What the fuh? I just got the SU! table top and I love it but I had to pull out a cement drill to put a hook in the wall in my basement so my kids wouldn't hack they're arm of either.
