So, yesterday, my friend Kristina posted a video tutorial of the no-lines coloring technique. I have tried this technique before with non-share-able results. No, really, totally non-share-able. But it occurred to me that little people and critters might just be much more difficult to do this to than, say, a flower.
So, I tried. And I'm sharing! I stamped one of the hibiscus images and the coordinating leaves from Wild Rose & Hibiscus by Sheena Douglass for Crafter's Companion in Memento Desert Sand dye ink onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock. I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens. And as I did so, the lines just sort of went away.
This month's Crafter's Companion Challenge is Embossing. I used the Embossalicious 6x6 Lattice folder to emboss the aqua cardstock panel.
I stamped the phrase from the same stamp set in Memento Morocco dye ink and used a label punch to cut it out.
Have you ever tried the no-lines coloring technique?
Spectrum Noir colors used:
OR1, OR2, OR3, CR10 (petals)
OR1, GB5, GB6 (stamen)
JG1, JG2, JG6 (leaves)
