Red Poppy Faerie

Here's another peek of the Faerie Poppets line of stamps releasing this week from Crafter's Companion. These gorgeous, detailed images are illustrated by Christine Haworth. She makes it so easy to color! 

I stamped Red Poppy Faerie onto Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. (I kept track of my colors on a scrap...guess what I did? Yeah, you know I threw it away!) I'll get the hang of it one of these days. 

I fussy cut around the image, but I left quite a bit of white. Then I inked the white parts with Antique Linen Distress Ink and a piece of Cut N Dry foam. I did the same to my card base. 

I stamped the sentiment from Beatrix Potter Clear Stamps Sentiment Set Female in Versafine Onyx Black Pigment ink. 

I tucked my faerie into a frame, and called it.
