I'm so excited to be the March Guest Designer at I {Heart} Papers! I've shopped with Kate for several years; she always has great deals, super fast shipping and she is in general one of my favorite people. I said "YES!!" without hesitation when she invited me to be March's Guest Designer.
For this project, I used 2 new Avery Elle sets and the Hero Arts Summer Splash set of ink cubes. If you haven't tried the Hero Arts Shadow Inks, these cube sets (of 4) are a great way to get your toes wet. And what can I say about Avery Elle--fresh, fun, funky all come to mind.
I stamped 3 of the floral images onto flecked cream cardstock and fussy cut them, leaving a border around the images. Then I stamped the foliage and some smaller flowers and berries from the set on a flecked cream panel. I adhered the cut out images onto the cream panel using dimensional foam squares and embellished some of the flower centers with self-adhesive pearls.
