I made two cards today--I tend to make multiples, mostly because I usually cut two card bases from one sheet. So, I worked on a birthday card--my card base was crooked, my patterned paper was too small, the stickers didn't work, I farked it up with a pen, my stamping looks like a 3 year old did it...girls, I even spelled MY. OWN. NAME. WRONG.
And then I made this card. Same paper, totally different result.
I stamped the "Hello!" on the card base, then added the swirly for some additional interest. I acheived the lighter shade for the swirly by stamping off once. The patterned pieces are edged with the totally fabulous Fiskars Edger Scissors and the top panel is on dimensional adhesive. I could have easily used an entire package of the tiny pearls on this card, damn near did to be honest! I love the shabby, sweet papers with the shiny pearls and ribbon. I AM slightly amused by the "Hell" at the top. Live and learn, right?
Have a super Sunday!
ColorBok textured for card base, Cosmo Cricket patterned papers, Offray ribbon, $Spot half back pearls, Marvy dk. brown marker for backgrounds, Fiskars corner edger scissors, stamps are All Night Media!, Zots and Cosmo Cricket dimensional tape

This is a great card.... I really like the detail.
Too funny. I am sure we have all had cards that just didn't work out.
Hell...that's beautiful! Come on over to my blog and pick up your award, Mary Dawn!

The card turned out well. We all have bad days. PS I have also misspelled my name when signing a card and I thought I was the only one!
