One of my twitter friends, Chari, asked if this technique would work on the clear plastic ornaments. I thought it would, but in the interest of science, I picked some up at the craft store today (for 50% off, holla) and tried it. It does work, which is fabulous if you have beastly chilren who wreck your tree or a cat who climbs it.
