Using a clear stamp block and water based inks to create a background is one of my favorite techniques. For this background square, I've used Clearsnap Colorbox Archival Dye Inks in Mermaid and Atlantic Blue and a spritz of water to blend them. I stamped my image and sentiment with Atlantic Blue. Stamps are all Hero Arts--I'm nothing if not loyal, huh? At least **I'M** not bored.

Lovely card! Did you used watercolor paper for it? Or can you also just use regular card stock to stamp the inks? :)
One of my Stamp Camp projects this month was stamping a background with an acrylic block, but we didn't spritz with water. Me, too: is that water color paper? And how did you ink up the two different colors? Lighter one first?
(I smell a video in your future.) :D
love this Mary Dawn! It is a like a little canvas of art.
