Mary Dawn, if you want the turquoise colour on the ivory ribbon, literally stamp the ink all over the silk ribbon, then use an iron on the silk setting to heat set it. The colour hopefully will become colorfast (I am not sure if Color Box pigment inks are suitable for fabric). I know that SU craft inks are, and you can even stamp images on the silk, heat set, and you have patterned ribbon :)
Love the tutorial.. now, to find some Smooch and some seam binding in the middle of nowhere :)
