stamps: hero arts & a muse studio specialty paper: tim holtz kraft glassine ink: hero hues black dye & ranger distress frayed burlap |
my son told me that this card was too boring for my blog. he's five. i told him i'd take it under advisement.
i used tim holtz's kraft glassine for the wrinkly strip behind the sentiment and for the flower. the flower is made with the same technique i showed in my felt chrysanthemum video. the kraft glassine becomes strong and malleable when you've wrinkled it up, it's pretty amazing stuff. i tried several different adhesives, including atg, scor-tape and express-it tape and they didn't work. good news, though! glossy accents works great, and it dries pretty quickly for a wet glue.
