I'm SO not organized
So I struggle with meeting deadlines and making appointments and being on time. For the past year, or so, I've been submitting cards to open publishing calls for various magazines. When I started getting really serious about this endeavor, I had to get organized somehow. This is so low tech, but it works best for me. I put all of the call prompts into a Word document, condense them the best I can, add the date they are due at the top and print it out. I tape it to the wall in my craft room, just to the right of my workspace. I don't have to re-read every prompt, just seeing it there sparks me. I stay organized and I rarely run last minute anymore. In fact, I'm usually finished creating a day before the deadline, leaving me plenty of time to edit my photos and do the actual submitting.
