Christmas Bells

Sort of, anyway! This card for a Hero Flickr Group 90 minute challenge to use a floral stamp not specifically meant for Christmas on a Holiday card. The card stock is actually Ripe Avocado and Terracotta Tile from Papertrey Ink and the inks are Ranger Distress Fired Brick and Peeled Paint. I also used a green and red-orange Prismacolor art marker to achieve the really saturated colors. I really love how this baby came out, but the embossed resist technique is pretty labor intensive, I won't be making this my Christmas Card. :)

I love the card Mary Dawn!! The colours are so bright, yet festive.... and I've been coveting that flower stamp for months!! Still have not seen it in the LSS that carries Hero Arts. I may have to break down and order it.

How cool are you? Using a non-traditional stamp like this makes you kinda smart (don't worry...only kinda)...ha ha!
