Hero Arts Pairs w/ Karen

(this is my 2nd post for today, scroll down to see my Week of Gratitude Day 5 post)

Karen and I are still trucking along on our Friday challenge. This week, we decided to do masculine cards, cards that I find not very fun. In fact, my husband is so easy, I usually go fun & cute or even feminine for cards for him. This one is certainly masculine, but I love it!

stamps: hero arts 3 ferns & essential messages
card stock: PTI
ink: distress wild honey & spiced marmalade, pti dark chocolate
accessories: crochet cotton, stash buttons, perfect pearls

Absolutely beautiful. Is that just embossing or a different technique. Pretty stamp.

no, it isn't embossing...i stamped with distress ink and brushed on perfect pearl powder, it stuck to the distress ink because it stays a little wet...then i spritzed with water to set the perfect pearls :)

Great job and that's a fun lil' technique! Good that your husband likes the frou-frou!
