Happy Hallowe'en Early

 We went trick-or-treating at the zoo this weekend. It's an event that happens all month, so we decided to go while Daddy had a Saturday off. We had a great time, the kids love going. We'll still do actual Halloween trick-or-treating too, but they like this way more.

In other, most excellent news: my husband DID get the job that I talked about several weeks back. It took longer than expected for him to start and it was touch and go for a little minute while we waited to hear, since he'd put in his last day at the old job. But he got a few days off in between, so it all worked out in the end. Whew.
