Catching Up

My, how I've missed you! But I have been having fun. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law came to stay for a week and it was a much needed visit. We hadn't seen my mother-in-law for going on 4 years and we hadn't seen my sister-in-law since we fled from Katrina. It was so nice to catch up, we didn't even go anywhere special. We spent our days gabbing and planning the next meal.

I made this card with some blog candy yummies I got from Carole-Ish. I used Courtney's sketch at Practicing Creativity. She's just released two new sets, one of which has been designed by my friend Karen from the Bald Dragonfly. She is an amazing cardmaker, but also a fabulous graphic designer. I'm so excited that she's designed a stamp set for Practicing Creativity Designs and I hope there are many more in store from her.

stamps: hero arts
card stock: PTI
ink: hero arts, colorbox, ranger distress
accessories: stick pins by little yellow bicycle, die cuts by k.i. memories and gingham ribbon all courtesy of Carole-Ish
