How I spent Mother's Day

I painted the trim in my room, well, I primed the trim in my room my husband primed the trim in my room with KILLZ because it had the original orange shellac that is popular in ugly houses (oh, I said it!). Look at that color! Yes, I keep saying that!

While Mr. Pink Mexico and I painted and scrubbed the grossest kitchen in ever, the kids played in the back. How cute is this race? Holding hands so they both win! I wish they were this cute everyday.

And finally, on the way back to our apartment we stopped at my mom's work to give her a card and the swanky vintage Liz Claiborne sunglasses I'd picked up for her at a yard sale the day before. Yes, I am a big spender!

It was, all-in-all, a pretty fine Mother's Day.

I don't know where you've moved to, but it's obviously "out in the country" somewhere......how nice! I love the new aqua color and I also love the "old chicken coop" and other outbuildings. What a great place for your kids to grow up. Best wishes in your new place.
