Kraft Week Day 5: Making Kraft Bold & Bright

(I miss you already, little numbers, you were so numerical)

For our final kraft week challenge, Susan and I made kraft bold and bright. I love bold color combinations, so this one was especially fun. I might make the main image panel white if I did this card again, though. What do you guys think? Susan's final card is typical Simplicity and sheer perfection, you won't be disappointed in the slightest.

This week has been so much fun! There is nothing I love more than COMMENTS...and boy, you're a talkative bunch! Don't forget about the giveaway, we'll leave comments open until midnight eastern time on Saturday. Check back on Monday, for our winner to be announced.

stamps: hero arts cling dots & wonderful birthday poly clear

I really love this card! The tiny splashes of color on the craft CS really make it. And this is funny, because I don't think I'd ever have said this before your week with Simplicity.......but I think the card looks better with the center panel in craft than it would in white! And that's saying something for someone who's never worked with craft before. I am now! And I thank you and Susan for that.

love this fun card!
I think the middle panel would look great white, it would lift the whole card.
Thanks for a great week of inspiration...and for double daring Susan to use Kraft :)

I agree, I think the image panel would look nice in white. Like the string!

Thank you for a great week, you've really given me lots of kraft inspiration. I agree I think white would really make your owl jump out. Hev:)

I like the polka dot kraft cs in this one - and the string on the balloon too. Thank for a fun week.

I kind of like the panel in kraft - I guess I would have to see it both ways to decide.

I love the little dimensional accents - the string and the pompom. Just adorable!!

Another great card. I think the white panel would look really good on this card. It would make it pop just like the other ladies said. Thank you so much for doing this, it makes me want to step outside of my "box" and strech myself as well. Great job this week

I never use bright colors with craft, I tend toward more masculine or subtle colors. I love how the bold colors look. I will try this in the future,

Love this card! The pompom and the balloon string take it to the nth level. You're right; the top panel would also work in white, but looks just fine in kraft too. Thanks for such an inspiring week! Now I can't wait for my first-ever kraft order to come in! :P

That is such a cute little card. I do love kraft paper , but don't use it near as much as I need to, evidently. You make it look easy.

thanks for sharing.

What a fun week! Thank you! Personally, I like this card with kraft instead of white. It makes it more kid-friendly. The "real" balloon string is a perfect touch.

Sweet card. I love his little pom pom hat! And the red and blue strips on either side make it look like he's standing outside the door, having just arrived for the party. Great job!

Love this one too, I like panels on cards. Either white or kraft works for me - both give a different feel to the card and both perfect!
